Sarnath Excursion

Sarnath is approximately 14 km from Varanasi. This is the place where Lord Buddha gave his first historical sermon to his disciples. Now an archaeological site, Sarnath sits on the sprawling landscaped garden with a Stupa in the middle. Dotted with Buddhist temples and monasteries, Sarnath is a must visit while you'r travelling in Varanasi. Worth a visit are the museum and the main temple.

Pick up at the hotel, drive to Sarnath with the local guide for half day excursion and drive back to Varanasi.
