Varanasi Explored aims to take you on a journey not much taken. Within these 3 days (excluding Delhi), we aim to give you the best highlights of Varanasi. Sailing, boats, magical evening and camping all are included in one so you do not have to worry about what you missed in Varanasi.

First we will explore river Ganges from where it is best viewed, the river itself and then we take on a tour of the City of Varanasi with a local guide.

Itinerary (excluding Delhi).

Day 1:

Transfer to Varanasi on an overnight train/car to Mirzapur, this is the launching point of our sailing on the Ganges. A boat crew will provide you with all that is required during this sailing. Today we sail down the Ganges and see life as it was hundreds of years ago. Take a walk in the nearby village with your guide to see the other side of Varanasi.

Overnight in a camp.

Day 2:

Sail down again in the morning after breakfast till Assi Ghat. Transfer to your hotel and evening take an evening boat ride to witness the amazing evening ceremony.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3:

A full day guided sightseeing of Varanasi and visit the main Ghats and Temples of the City of Lights. Second half of the day, visit the famous Sarnath Temple and the archaeological sights and ruins.

Evening drop off at the hotel and tour ends in the morning of day 4.
